As well as being a seasoned live performer, Alex Condliffe has been a writing and recording artist for over 10 years. His dedication to composing and his adaptability has led him to featuring on a wide range of projects; from composing tracks for award winning sync labels Extreme Music and HitLicense, to featuring on recording sessions for solo artists and established bands, Alex will be an asset in any studio situation.

'More To My Less' was written for and published on the Extreme Music album 'Indie Songwriter' (2016). Written, recorded and produced by Alex, Simon Diamond and Grayson Voltaire, 'More To My Less' has been subsequently licensed for use across Europe and America. It was recently used on an episode of 'M jak miłość', Poland's highest-rated TV show. On 'More To My Less', Alex plays guitar, sings lead vocals and plays Hammond organ. 'White At Night' was written in late 2016 with Jack Lewis (Mandeville) as a submission track for the Hype/Extreme Music album 'Acoustic Rock'. Composed following a brief, 'White At Night' was recorded and produced by Alex and Jack at both the Extreme Music studios in central London and remotely from Alex's home studio in South Woodham Ferrers. This version is a remaster by Owain North. On 'White At Night', Alex plays guitar, piano, bass and sings lead vocals. Drums were recorded by Danny Farrant (The Buzzcocks).

Having spent 3 years studying composition at Nottingham University, Alex can write and arrange for any and all instruments. Similarly, from his remote home studio in South Woodham Ferrers, Alex is able to quickly and professionally turn around audio tracks for your projects. Alex will happily tweak and adjust his recordings for you and your mix until you're 100% satisfied.
As a creative, professional and current sounding songwriter, Alex is more than comfortable as both a collaborator in a writing partnership/collective or when given the task of producing a fully-formed track on his own. Alex's original songs, be they a solo work, as part of a band or written alongside another artist, have garnered airplay, awards and critical acclaim across the BBC, worldwide blogs and have been licensed across Europe and America.
'Eye to Eye', featuring Ellie Henley on vocals, is an electro-pop tune written and produced by Alex Condliffe from 2016. Originally conceived for an album for sync label and music library Hype/Extreme Music, 'Eye to Eye' was subsequently released online under the pseudonym 'Moniker'. On 'Eye to Eye', Alex wrote and recorded all parts (aside from lead vocals), composed the lyrics, sung backing vocals and fully mixed and mastered the song from his home studio in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. 'Jamie' was the 2nd single from Tiger Blood, a 4 piece indie-rock band made up of Alex Condliffe, Jonny Fitzpatrick, Alex Lesczcuk and Alex Duval. Released in 2012, 'Jamie' was recorded at Monkey Puzzle Studios in Bury St Edmonds, and was the follow-up to their debut track 'Big Steve', which garnered radio play on BBC Essex. The record was produced by Tom Peters (Monkey Puzzle Studios), and was originally mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios. This version has been remastered by Owain North. On 'Jamie', Alex plays guitar and sings lead vocals.
Adept in a wide range of styles and genres, from acoustic, folk, piano ballads to indie, rock, pop, electro and even country, Alex can deliver radio quality songs and instrumentals for your film, advert, project or personal use.
Alex is a consumate performer on piano, keyboards, organ, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar and percussion. His is a baritone voice with a strong falsetto and is perfectly comfortable on lead or backing vocals. Have a listen to a selection of his previous songs to hear what he's capable of.
'Holy Smokes' is the second original single from Alex Fox, Alex's solo project, and was released by WALLOP! Records in the spring of 2015. Recorded at Woodburner Studios by Dan Williams (Mute Records) and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road, 'Holy Smokes' features the members of Essex-based garage rock band Mandeville performing. On 'Holy Smokes', Alex wrote the song and all lyrics, sings all vocals, plays acoustic guitar, organ and co-produced.
'You Give Me No Reason' is the first song composed by writing collective None Of Us Are Noah. The group, comprised of Alex Condliffe, Nick Acton (Stealing Signs) and producer/engineer Owain North, focus on writing songs in a wide range of styles, though specifically for composing briefs and projects. From the songs inception to it's mastered released, everything is kept in house ensuring for a quick yet meticulous turnaround. on 'You Give Me No Reason', Alex plays piano, bass and sings backing vocals.
'BlueBlood' is the latest collaboration between myself and my producer Owain North. I wrote and performed all lyrics and parts. 'BlueBlood' was written as a submission for Extreme Music. We drew our inspirations from Aldous Huxley and MONEY and their use of stripped down music and heartfelt lyrics.
